Formation
Uplyftz is founded as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to uplifting communities through education and technology.
June 2025
Pilot at Highlands School
Three-day, three-hour-per-day 3D printing workshop at Highlands School in Birmingham—our first on-campus school pilot.
December 2025
Programs in India
A single three-hour 3D printing and AI workshop at each partner school: Unison International School (Pinjore) and Solitaire International School (Panchkula).
February–April 2026
Birmingham Public Library — Central
Four-week after-school digital literacy program at BPL Central: one hour per week covering 3D design and AI.
Summer 2026
Library Summer Programs
Four-day, three-hour-per-day full digital literacy programs (3D printing, coding, and AI) across Birmingham Public Library branches: Central, Powderly, East Ensley, and Smithfield.
October 2026
3D Printing Lab at Central
Construction is underway on a fully featured 3D printing lab at Birmingham Public Library — Central. The library is building it with Target and Shipt, and the Mike & Gillian Goodrich Foundation helped fund the lab. Work will be complete in late October 2026.
